How do I become a director of a management company?

How do I become a director of a management company?

Any member of the property management company can become a director of the company. In order to become a director, you must put your name forward at an Annual General Meeting. Your nomination must then be voted by other members of the management company.

A director is appointed to act on behalf and in the best interest of other members of the management company when making decisions for the development. Each management company needs at least two directors that is the minimum requirement.

A director’s responsibility is to make sure that the development is managed and maintained to a reasonable standard.
If you want any more details on becoming a director check out the guide from the housing authority guide.
