The sale can be agreed within a few days, but the legal process usually takes 6-8 weeks (or more). If you are buying a property which has changed hands since 2019, it could be faster, as the property will now have a registered title. If this is not the case, your solicitors will be required to thoroughly check the title in detail as they will be responsible for signing off on the title for all future sales. As there are no lending institutions involved, this should expedite the selling process.
