Required Notice Periods

The minimum notice required to be given by a landlord to their tenant to terminate their tenancy lawfully is 28 days. This may vary depending on the duration of the tenancy, for example, a tenancy which does not exceed one year requires 90 days notice and a tenancy lasting more than one year but less than three years requires a notice period of at least 120 days.
