Responsibilities as a Tenant

The responsibilities as a tenant include:

i. Paying your rent on time and in the appropriate manner, as agreed in the tenancy agreement.
ii. Keeping the property in good repair and well-maintained.
iii. Informing the landlord of any repairs that are the responsibility of the landlord, and give them reasonable access to the property to carry out such repairs.
iv. Informing the landlord of all people who reside in the property.
v. Complying with the terms of the tenancy agreement.
vi. Give the landlord appropriate notice when terminating a tenancy.
