Automatically, after purchasing a property in a Multi-Unit development, you become a member of the OMC. Through this membership, you will have rights and obligations including, have a say in the running of the common areas.

The register of members must be updated by the company with the new buyer’s details. The register of members is a list of all members names, addresses and contact details of the company. The members are responsible for letting the company know of relevant changes to their contact details. If a tenant moves into a unit the owner must provide the owners property management company (OMC) with the tenants contact details.
