,

Documentation supplied by the tenant for the landlord.
What information can a landlord ask a tenant to provide?

A landlord may request documentation from the tenant with a view to vet the tenant prior to the upcoming tenancy. This information may include:

i. PPS number

ii. A tenant reference

iii. A reference from your employer

iv. Proof of residency

v. Proof of funds – Pay slips/ recent bank statements

vi. Photo ID – Passport/ driving license

The above documentation is used to support that the tenant will pay their rent in full each month and that the tenant has legal permission to reside in the country. It will also prove the tenant’s suitability for the property.
