Reporting is clear, queries are answered properly rather than deflected, and the financial information we receive is detailed enough for directors to actually work from - which is not something I would say of every agent in this sector. His description and photographs were highly professional and really caught the essence of its appeal. During the sales period he gave detailed feedback after viewings. I could tell that he had engaged thoughtfully with prospective buyers, often seeking additional details from me in response to queries raised. Phil agreed a motivational commission structure that reflected his commitment to push on even after our reserve had been reached. Considering the strong result he achieved for us, his fees proved to be very good value. His tightly-researched house tax advice potentially saved us thousands. Unprompted, my architect and solicitor both commented favourably on Phil’s thoroughness. I highly recommend Phil as a methodical and disciplined achiever, with a warm understated manner. While this move brought the excitement of a new life, it also came with the stress of selling my apartment, which I had purchased only six months prior. I was unfamiliar with the selling process and reached out to multiple real estate agents, including the one who helped me buy the property. That’s when I came across Phil Thompson from Casey Kennedy. I had already scheduled an appointment with Phil when I received another enticing offer from a different agent. I was tempted to cancel my meeting with Phil, but he encouraged me to stick to our original appointment. Initially hesitant, I decided to meet him. During our meeting, I was convinced to go ahead with Phil because I saw a “never give up” attitude in him that resonated with me. Despite knowing I might cancel his services, he travelled to meet me, demonstrating a winner’s attitude that compelled me to hire him. He provided invaluable guidance on viewings and shared small but impactful tips, like keeping the windows clean to make the space look brighter. Selling a recently purchased house is never easy, as buyers often suspect something is wrong with the property. Additionally, selling it at a price that would recover some of my costs was challenging. For me, it was a journey from never keeping the house fully organized to decluttering, cleaning every nook and corner, and even purchasing decoration items I hadn’t bought after moving in. They are on-site on a very regular basis and have already sorted out many issues and have a good network of tradespeople. As we live abroad, it was very important to us to have a responsive, efficient and professional property manager and Shane has proved himself to be that. Both we and our tenants have always been very happy with the service he has provided. We recently decided to sell the property and appointed Casey Kennedy as our selling agents. From our initial conversations regarding selling the property to its final conclusion, Shane kept us informed and there were no surprises. Shane knows the property market well and recommended we do some refurbishment work before market launch. Having agreed a budget, the refurbishment work was completed on time, on budget and to a high quality standard. James O'Donovan1973 days agoI've dealt with Casey Kennedy Estate agents on both the letting side and the sales side, and what I noticed from the outset was the personal attention and willingness to really do their best for me. Their local area knowledge was key also in achieving quick letting with good rent and good tenant, and on the sales side an accurate valuation and detailed qualification of potential purchasers concluding with a very happy sold money in the bank scenario. Recently Phil and Shane helped complete a sale in Dublin for me and while i could not travel to Dublin due to Covid 19 travel restrictions they made it seamless to work through the process, even to the extent of key cutting, arranging tradespeople locally to do some snag fixes, all the running around I would have done if i could travel, yet they did that as part of their service. It's things like that drive repeat business and in my case if/when I am purchasing again I will be very keen to buy through them as I trust them having had several dealings that all worked out well.
