What are considered the common areas of a development?

The Multi-Unit Development Act 2011 states that the common areas of a block are:

– Halls, landings, stairs, lifts,
– External access routes, footpaths, curbs, boundary walls, landscaped areas
– External structure of the building including walls, roofs, building’s foundations,
– Any tanks, pipes, drains, central heating boilers, and wires serving the entire building.
